Event and Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Home-Based with Varied Locations/Event Venues
Hours: 15 hours per week (Flexible working hours)
Job Type: Part Time (6-month temporary with potential for a permanent role)
Salary: £7.80-£12.30 per hour (Depending on age)

Role Overview:
Jericho Entertainment is seeking a reliable and organised Event and Marketing Assistant. This role is crucial in supporting the planning, execution, and promotion of our themed events. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and able to assist with both event coordination and marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
Event Support Assistance:
Venue research and development.
Development of event concepts and themes, contributing to the creation of unique and immersive experiences for attendees.
Venue bookings.
Event planning, including sourcing acts, artists, and DJs.
Event media creation.
Setting up events on ticketing platforms.
Occasional on-site assistance and support for events.
Marketing & Promotion Assistance:
Development and implementation of marketing plans to promote events and build brand awareness.
Creating engaging marketing materials, including digital content, in collaboration with the design team.
Management of social media channels, creating and scheduling content, and engaging with followers.
Coordination of marketing activities, including email campaigns, advertising, public and vendor relations.
Tracking, analysing and reporting on marketing campaign performance.
General Assistance:
Maintaining strong relationships with venues, suppliers, and other partners.
Contributing to the development of new event concepts and ideas.
Providing administrative support to the event management team.
Requirements:
Confidence in data entry and accurately maintaining records.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a variety of company partners.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in social media marketing and digital marketing platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Well-organised with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to assisting with delivering high-quality events.
Strong time management skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
A collaborative team player with a proactive and flexible approach.
Flexibility and willingness to occasionally attend and support evening and weekend events.
Passion for music and live events.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience in creating marketing materials and managing marketing campaigns.
Ability to use online Google applications such as Docs, Sheets and other online applications such as Canva.
A full driver's licence and access to a car.
